  • Is the needle on the stylus sharp or flat? We just got an Edison phonograph model A, and the needle seems square or flat. Does it need replaced?

    Hi. If your reproducer is a Model C (Marked on the tail weight) for playing 2 minute cylinder records, it will be shaped like a round door knob on the end. The two minute recording stylus will be flat on the end to cut the groove in a wax cylinder. Cheers Marcel
